March 11, 2025: The wait for the final season of the popular thriller series You is finally over. Netflix has officially revealed the release date for the much-anticipated last season of the show.

The fifth and final season of You, starring Penn Badgley as the enigmatic and obsessive Joe Goldberg, will premiere on April 24. The streaming giant made the announcement with a new poster that shows Joe Goldberg sitting in front of a typewriter, staring into a mirror, with the tagline: “Joe has an announcement for You. The final season of YOU premieres 24 April, only on Netflix.”

You has captivated audiences since its debut, following the dark and twisted journey of Joe Goldberg, a man with a disturbing mix of charm and obsession, who goes to extreme lengths to control and manipulate those he desires. In the final season, Joe returns to New York City, where his journey began, hoping to start a new life. But his past actions and the ghosts of his previous crimes soon threaten to unravel everything he’s worked for.
