May 20, 2025: Beloved children’s character Peppa Pig is celebrating the arrival of her baby sister, Evie, the third child for Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. The joyful news marks a new chapter in the animated family’s life, and Mummy Pig couldn’t be more thrilled.

In a heartfelt update, Mummy Pig shared her excitement and gratitude following the birth.
“I’m feeling fantastic,” she said. “I’m so thrilled Evie is finally here, happy and healthy! I won’t say it was an easy birth — oink! — but it was all worth it the moment I held her in my arms and our family met her for the first time.”

The homecoming was full of tender moments as Peppa and George met their baby sister.
“It’s been an adventure already!” Mummy Pig gushed. “Evie’s just as curious and excitable as Peppa, and as playful and funny as George. They’re already quite the trio. She even loves music — she jiggles and giggles to every tune!”

Choosing the name Evie was a meaningful decision.
“It took time to find the perfect name — for a while we joked she’d just be called ‘Baby’ forever!” Mummy Pig joked. “But Evie was the name of my Great Aunt, and when we said it aloud, her eyes lit up — it felt right immediately.”

When Peppa and George met Evie for the first time, they ran into the hospital with Granny and Grandpa Pig, buzzing with excitement.
“What surprised me most,” Mummy Pig said, “was how gentle they were right away. They were so calm and loving… Evie smiled and giggled the moment they were near.”

Of course, the transition hasn’t been without its challenges.
“It’s definitely a big adjustment,” Mummy Pig admitted. “There’ve been a few wobbles — it’s not always easy for little ones to understand why babies need so much time and attention. But Peppa and George are taking their roles as ‘Even Bigger Sister’ and ‘Big Brother’ very seriously.”

To ease the transition, the family makes sure Peppa and George feel included in everything related to their new sibling — even if that means sharing responsibilities like diaper duty!
“We involve them in all things Evie… well, until it’s time for a nappy change!”

Mummy Pig also credits her wider support network with making this chapter easier.
“There’s definitely more chaos, more laughs, and more nappies — but we’re lucky to have wonderful family and friends. Granny and Grandpa Pig couldn’t wait to babysit, and our parent groups have been so helpful. Plus, we’ve had so many visitors bringing love and veggie lasagnes — our freezer’s full!”

As the Pig family settles into life as a family of five, Mummy Pig looks forward to all the new milestones ahead.
“It’s magical seeing all their ‘firsts’ — first laughs, first bedtime stories, first baths. They’re moments you never get back, and we’re soaking up every single one.”
