‘Phineas And Ferb’ Return: New Episodes Coming This Summer

February 7, 2025: The long-awaited return of the animated musical-comedy series Phineas and Ferb is just around the corner! Co-creators Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh announced that new episodes will air this summer on both Disney Channel and Disney+.

The upcoming season promises fresh adventures with the inventive stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb. “Since Phineas and Ferb is essentially a celebration of summer vacation, summer is the perfect time to debut the new season,” said Povenmire and Marsh in a statement. “We’ve had such a great time diving back into this world, and the entire cast and crew have really brought their A-game. We cannot wait to see fans’ reactions to what is shaping up to be our favorite season yet.”

In 2023, Disney Branded Television confirmed the revival, which will feature a total of 40 episodes, split across two seasons. Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, expressed her excitement for the show’s return, stating, “Few shows capture pure fun and creativity like Phineas and Ferb. With Dan and Swampy back at the helm, this new season is sure to deliver even more of the excitement and heart that made the show a beloved favorite.”

The revival will bring back the original voice cast, including Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, and Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher. Dee Bradley Baker will return as Perry the Platypus, and Alyson Stoner will voice Isabella Garcia-Shapiro. Additionally, Povenmire will voice Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, and Marsh will voice Major Francis Monogram.

Phineas and Ferb originally premiered in 2007 and became an instant hit, airing 126 episodes, five one-hour specials, a musical, and two movies before concluding in 2015 after four seasons. The new season will continue the iconic duo’s summer adventures, with Candace still trying to bust her brothers and Perry the Platypus continuing his double life as Agent P, battling Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s schemes to take over the Tri-State area.

Fans can expect more fun-filled antics and inventive escapades as Phineas and Ferb embark on another 104 days of summer.
