PM Modi praises self made singer Maithili Thakur

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended artist Maithili Thakur, who is from Bihar, for her rendition of a song on Maa Shabri. According to the Ramayan, Maa Shabri gave half-eaten fruit to Shri Ram when he was being exiled. PM Modi stated in a post on X that the nation is being reminded of events from Lord Ram’s life during the Pran Pratishtha celebration. “My family members across the nation are being reminded of every episode pertaining to the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram on the occasion of Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya. A poignant instance of this kind involves Shabari. He said, “Listen to how Maithili Thakur ji has incorporated it into her catchy tunes.”

Maithali Thakur is a vocalist who was born in Benipatti, Bihar. She is well-known for her vocals in Hindi, Bhojpuri, and Maithili. Maa Shabri is renowned in the Ramayana for her devoted service to Lord Ram. When Lord Ram was banished, she gave him half-eaten apples. commemorating Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a book of stamps honoring Lord Ram that was produced by nations all around the world in addition to commemorative postage stamps commemorating the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Ram Temple, the Saryu River, the sun, the choupai (verse) “Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,” and sculptures within and outside the temple are all featured in the stamp design.

Six commemorative stamps featuring the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj, and Maa Shabri—all significant characters and symbols connected to the story of Lord Ram—were published today. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the significance of the forthcoming Pran Pratishtha event of Ram Mandir on January 22, saying that this much anticipated function is a chance to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s hospitality culture. The Chief Minister’s office stated in a string of tweets on X that attempts have to be undertaken to rid Shri Ayodhyadham of single-use plastic.
