The June 29 episode of RHOA offered viewers a deeply personal look at Porsha Williams‘ grief over the loss of her cousin and close confidante, Yolanda “Londie” Favors, who died suddenly in August 2024.

While speaking with castmate Phaedra Parks, Williams shared the harrowing moment her sister Lauren was on the phone with Londie during her final moments. “She actually transitioned while you were on the phone?” Parks asked Lauren, to which she softly responded, “Yeah.”

Williams added, “Dealing with the loss of my cousin Londie… I’m going through a lot emotionally while being there for my family. She meant so much to all of us. So it’s pretty difficult.”

In a confessional, Lauren described her emotional state: “I’m just numb. We’re like sisters. We grew up… we were babies together.”

Williams then shared how quickly the tragedy unfolded. “I was at work and I got some news that Londie was in distress, and within an hour or two we had lost Londie,” she said. “She was just the most giving person you could ever think of.”
