Post Malone Closes Out Coachella 2025 with Surprise Sets by Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll & Lady Gaga

The final night of Coachella 2025 was nothing short of electrifying, as Post Malone brought out global music heavyweights Ed Sheeran and Jelly Roll during his headlining performance. The surprise appearances turned the Empire Polo Club into a celebration of country-pop crossovers and nostalgic sing-alongs.
Jelly Roll was the first to hit the stage, joining Post Malone for a live rendition of their much-anticipated country duet “Losers” from Post’s upcoming country debut album F-1 Trillion. The crowd erupted when the emotional ballad was performed live for the first time.
Shortly after, Ed Sheeran emerged for a show-stopping performance of “Sunflower,” originally a collaboration between Post Malone and Swae Lee. Sheeran stepped in to sing Lee’s iconic verse, turning the diamond-certified hit into a unique festival moment.
While Sheeran’s appearance during Malone’s set was unannounced, the British singer-songwriter had already made waves earlier in the weekend, hosting a surprise performance at his nostalgic “Old Phone Pub” pop-up. There, he shared the stage with Shaboozey and Atlantic Records labelmate Alex Warren, giving fans intimate, acoustic versions of upcoming tracks.
Sheeran is currently gearing up for his eighth studio album, Play. Though no release date has been confirmed, he recently dropped the album’s lead single “Azizam”, along with a music video that’s already generating buzz. His Coachella performances seem to mark the beginning of a full promotional wave.
Another major highlight from the festival was Lady Gaga’s surprise appearance, where she stunned audiences with a heartfelt performance of “Shallow”, the Oscar-winning anthem from A Star Is Born.
“This movie changed my life,” Gaga told the crowd before diving into the emotional ballad. Her rendition marked a full-circle moment, as she last headlined Coachella in 2017.
