Telugu superstar Prabhas’ fans left moviegoers stunned on Friday as The Raja Saab released in theatres on January 9. In a dramatic display of fandom, several fans were seen carrying stuffed crocodiles into cinema halls, recreating a memorable moment from the film’s trailer.
Videos circulating on social media show enthusiastic fans hoisting the fake crocodiles over their heads, chanting and cheering as they rushed into theatres. While the visuals initially startled audiences, it was soon clear that the crocodiles were harmless props inspired by a fight scene in the trailer where Prabhas’ character throws a crocodile at his opponent.
The viral clips highlight the massive fan frenzy surrounding Prabhas’ latest pan-Indian release, with supporters donning themed outfits and turning screenings into celebratory events.
According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, The Raja Saab opened strongly, collecting approximately ₹8.26 crore in India on its first day across all languages at the time of reporting. The film has been released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
