The Cannes Film Festival witnessed a star-studded affair as the team of ‘Kannappa’ made a dazzling appearance at the prestigious event’s 77th edition. Leading the pack were director-choreographer Prabhudeva, producer Mohan Babu, and actor Vishnu Manchu, who graced the iconic red carpet in style ahead of the premiere of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’. Vishnu was accompanied by his wife, Viranica, adding to the glamour of the evening.

Social media was abuzz with snapshots and videos shared by Vishnu, showcasing the team’s impeccable sense of style as they donned elegant black attire for the occasion. The official ‘Kannappa’ movie page also treated fans to a glimpse of the red carpet extravaganza, hinting at the anticipation surrounding the film’s teaser launch.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced under Manchu’s banners AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, ‘Kannappa’ boasts an ensemble cast featuring Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi. Set to release in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English, the film promises to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative.

Adding to the excitement, ‘Kannappa’ features special appearances by Prabhas and Akshay Kumar, further elevating the film’s appeal on the global stage.

As the curtains draw on the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 25, the spotlight continues to shine on Indian cinema, with events like the first-ever Bharat Parva celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of India. Hosted by Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the evening showcased the vibrant fusion of Indian culture, cuisine, and cinema, captivating Cannes delegates and reinforcing India’s prominence on the global cinematic landscape.
