Prashansa, a professionally trained actor from the Prague Film School and The Drama School, Mumbai, began her career in theatre with veteran artists like Ratna Pathak and Dadi Padamsee. She has made a mark in some of India’s most acclaimed shows, such as “Dahaad” and “Mirzapur.” Her ability to fully embody her characters and bring authenticity to her roles has established her as one of the most exciting new talents in the industry.
When asked about her co-actor, Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu Pandit in “Mirzapur,” Prashansa candidly shared: “Ali Fazal’s ability to bring such softness and childlike playfulness to Guddu bhaiya is deeply inspiring. He is one of the finest actors in the country and is now a producer with his film ‘Girls Will Be Girls,’ winning awards at several international film festivals. It has been a privilege to work with him and to be appreciated for my performance; his generosity as an actor is infectious, and it means a lot that he sees potential in me.”
