Prince Harry Reportedly ‘Unhappy’ With Meghan Markle Using Kids in Brand Promotions

Despite keeping Archie and Lilibet’s faces hidden, Meghan’s use of family moments for her lifestyle brand ‘As Ever’ has raised concerns from Prince Harry, insiders claim

As Meghan Markle steps fully into her role as a lifestyle entrepreneur with her new venture, As Ever, questions are surfacing around her brand’s use of family imagery—especially when it comes to her and Prince Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet.

Though Meghan ensures their faces remain hidden in promotional material, she’s shared glimpses of family life to boost engagement and connect with her audience. But according to royal insider Matt Wilkinson, Prince Harry isn’t fully on board with this strategy.

“Harry is probably not overly happy,” Wilkinson said on his podcast, via Page Six. “He’d prefer his kids were not seen publicly.”

Harry, deeply affected by the intrusive media coverage of his own childhood, has consistently emphasized privacy for his children. He’s pursued lawsuits against tabloids and taken significant steps to shield his family from the spotlight.

Wilkinson explains that Harry’s caution contrasts with Meghan’s more relaxed approach.

“She grew up in California. She wants her kids to enjoy the beach, go out, live freely—not be hidden away,” Wilkinson added.

Despite these differing perspectives, it’s believed the couple discusses such decisions in depth, and Harry likely approved of the posts featuring their kids—even if it’s not his preferred approach.

While Meghan’s intentions seem rooted in authenticity and relatability for her brand, the couple may face increasingly complex choices as Archie and Lilibet grow older. Public interest will only rise, and balancing visibility with privacy will be a delicate line to walk.
