Priscilla Presley Accused of ‘Pushing’ Elvis to His Death

Priscilla Presley is facing explosive new allegations from her former business partners who claim she “pushed” Elvis Presley to his death with “undue financial pressure.” Her lawyer has vehemently denied the claims, calling them “absurd and despicable.”

September 6, 2025: In a dramatic turn in her legal battle with former business partners, Priscilla Presley is now facing explosive allegations that she contributed to Elvis Presley’s death by exerting “undue financial pressure” on him.

The accusations were made in a newly amended complaint filed by Brigitte Kurse and Kevin Fialko in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.

The lawsuit claims that Priscilla’s actions, including placing a nearly half-million-dollar lien on Graceland just four months before Elvis died in August 1977, added immense pressure to the singer and exacerbated his struggles with addiction. Kurse and Fialko allege that Priscilla “pushed him to his death” by continuing to “exploit the Presley name to fund her lifestyle” despite their divorce.

Priscilla and Riley Keough Respond

Priscilla, through her attorney Marty D. Singer, has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “absurd and despicable.” Singer stated that the lawsuit is a retaliatory move against Priscilla’s own elder abuse and fraud lawsuit against her former business partners. He also made a statement dismissing the claims as outlandish, comparing them to conspiracy theories like Area 51 and Bigfoot.

In a rare joint statement, Priscilla and her granddaughter, Riley Keough, addressed the new claims, calling them “untrue and deeply hurtful.” The statement, issued to People, emphasized that the family is “united in love and respect” and that their priority remains “honoring Lisa Marie’s memory and protecting Elvis’ legacy with dignity.”

The new complaint also includes a private letter from Riley to her grandmother, in which she claims she “protected” Priscilla from a potential lawsuit from her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, just weeks before her death.
