Priyanka Chopra Gets Emotional as Nick Jonas Pens Heartfelt Letter: “Building Life With You Is the Greatest Honour”

Actor Priyanka Chopra was left teary-eyed during a recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast when she was surprised with a deeply personal letter from her husband, Nick Jonas. The emotional moment came as she was promoting her latest film, The Bluff.

Jay revealed that he had reached out to Nick separately to write a note for Priyanka. As he began reading it aloud, Priyanka appeared shy and visibly nervous, softly saying, “Oh gosh, I’m embarrassed,” before listening intently.

In the letter, Nick praised Priyanka not just as a global icon, but as a mother, daughter, sister and wife. He expressed admiration for her patience, empathy and strength, writing that building a life with her is the “greatest honour” of his life. He also mentioned how proud he is of her resilience over the years, especially as she balanced careers across countries and embraced major life changes.

Nick concluded by saying that he and their daughter, Malti Marie, are always by her side, calling Priyanka the “center of our universe.”

By the end of the reading, Priyanka was visibly emotional. She shared how she treasures handwritten notes and recently gathered all the letters Nick has written to her over the years while unpacking after moving back to Los Angeles. Reflecting on their relationship, she said expressing love openly makes a profound difference.

Priyanka and Nick’s love story began in 2016 when he first reached out to her on social media. They got engaged in 2018 and married later that year in Jodhpur in a grand ceremony blending Christian and Hindu traditions. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter via surrogacy.
