Priyanka Chopra Is a Total Badass in ‘Heads of State’ Trailer: Watch!

June 5, 2025: Prime Video has dropped the high-octane trailer for its upcoming action-comedy Heads of State, and fans are already buzzing — especially about Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who takes on a commanding role as MI6 agent Noel Bisset. The film, which also stars Idris Elba and John Cena, promises an explosive blend of espionage, comedy, and international intrigue.

Directed by Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry, Nobody), Heads of State follows UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Elba) and US President Will Derringer (Cena), political rivals whose public feud threatens global stability. But when an unexpected foreign threat emerges, the two leaders are forced to put aside their differences and team up to save the world.

Enter Chopra Jonas as Agent Noel Bisset — sharp, fearless, and tasked with protecting the powerful pair while unraveling a dangerous conspiracy. The 2-minute-46-second trailer gives a glimpse of high-speed chases, covert operations, and sharp comedic exchanges reminiscent of classic ‘90s buddy-cop films.

Social media has been quick to respond to Chopra Jonas’ performance, with fans praising her screen presence and comparing the role to her breakout turn in Quantico. One X (formerly Twitter) user gushed, “Noel Bisset is a potential MOTHER y’all #PriyankaChopra,” while another wrote, “So proud, so excited, I can’t wait!!!!” Comments on Instagram echoed the enthusiasm, with many calling her a “Queen” and declaring that she “steals the show.”

The film also features a stacked supporting cast, including Paddy Considine, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, and Sarah Niles. According to Prime Video’s official press note, Heads of State is “a global adventure blending explosive action and sharp comedic banter that takes audiences on the run and for a thrilling ride.”

Notably, the film marks the first on-screen reunion of Elba and Cena since their 2021 hit The Suicide Squad, this time swapping supervillains for political power plays.

Heads of State will be available to stream worldwide on Prime Video starting July 2, 2025.
