April 15, 2025: Priyanka Chopra is all set to reunite with her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron in an untitled comedy film helmed by director Nicholas Stoller, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The actress will also share the screen with acclaimed actor Michael Peña in this Amazon MGM Studios-backed project.
Sharing the news on her Instagram story, Priyanka posted a screenshot of the THR article, confirming her participation in the film.

The star-studded ensemble cast includes Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, and Billy Eichner. The film, previously titled Judgment Day, revolves around a young convict (played by Efron) who, after being released from prison, takes an unscripted TV courtroom hostage. He believes that a judge — played by Will Ferrell — made a ruling that destroyed his life. Stoller is directing the film from his own script.
Stoller, known for hits like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, is collaborating once again with Amazon MGM Studios following their work on You’re Cordially Invited, starring Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.
While further plot details remain under wraps, the intriguing premise has already created a buzz among fans.
Priyanka Chopra, meanwhile, has a busy slate of projects. She is set to appear in The Bluff, a period drama directed by Frank E. Flowers, and Heads of State, an action film featuring John Cena and Idris Elba. She also starred in the first season of the spy thriller Citadel with Richard Madden, although its second season has reportedly been delayed to 2026.
Additionally, she is rumored to be collaborating with director SS Rajamouli in his upcoming project starring Mahesh Babu.
With this exciting reunion with Zac Efron and a promising lineup of global projects, Priyanka Chopra continues to shine on the international stage.
