Priyanka Chopra Jonas and BLACKPINK’s Lisa Set Golden Globes Stage Ablaze
Hollywood’s biggest party delivered a historic cross-cultural moment on Sunday night, January 11, 2026, as global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas and BLACKPINK’s Lisa (Lalisa Manobal) took the stage as a presenting duo at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards.
The pair, representing the heights of Bollywood and K-pop, drew the loudest cheers of the night at the Beverly Hilton. Host Nikki Glaser introduced them with a biting one-liner: “One was in ‘The White Lotus,’ and one wed the white Nick Jonas,” a nod to Lisa’s recent acting debut in the HBO series and Priyanka’s high-profile marriage.
The duo presented the award for Best Actor in a TV Series – Drama, a category packed with heavy hitters like Sterling K. Brown and Gary Oldman.
Priyanka, who arrived with husband Nick Jonas, served as the evening’s ultimate fashion inspiration.
For Lisa, the night was a celebration of her successful transition into Hollywood. Having made her debut in The White Lotus Season 3 (filmed in her native Thailand), she was praised by Priyanka on stage for her “seamless” move into drama. Backstage photos of the two stars laughing and sharing a “Thai-Indian” greeting have become the most shared images from the ceremony.
After a whirlwind 24 hours in LA, Priyanka is expected to fly back to India to join the final leg of her sister Nupur Sanon’s wedding festivities in Udaipur. Professionally, her next big project, the SS Rajamouli epic Varanasi, is slated to begin its second schedule in February.
