March 21, 2025: Priyanka Chopra’s recent visit to India wasn’t just about film shoots and food—it also brought a moment of quiet inspiration. The actress took to Instagram to share a candid story of a guava vendor she met in Visakhapatnam, whose dignified gesture deeply moved her.
In a video shared on her feed, Priyanka recalled how, while en route to the airport on her way from Vizag to Mumbai (and then to New York), she spotted a woman selling kachcha (unripe) guavas. Being fond of them, she stopped to buy some.

“I asked her how much for all the guavas and she said Rs 150,” Priyanka said. “I gave her Rs 200 and told her to keep the change. But before the light turned green, she returned to give me two more guavas. She clearly didn’t want charity—she was a working woman and took pride in her labour. It really moved me.”
The post featured a bag full of guavas, along with snippets from her film set and picturesque shots from her road journey. A fun foodie moment also made it to the carousel—Priyanka relishing a chocolate bar ice cream, perfect for the Indian summer.
