Priyanka Chopra Reunites With Zac Efron for Hollywood Comedy by ‘Neighbors’ Director Nicholas Stoller
April 15, 2025: Priyanka Chopra Jonas is diving back into comedy as she teams up once again with her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron for a new Hollywood film directed by Nicholas Stoller, known for hits like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors.
The yet-to-be-titled project, formerly known as Judgment Day, is being developed by Amazon MGM Studios and features a powerhouse cast including Will Ferrell, Michael Peña, Regina Hall, Billy Eichner, and Jimmy Tatro.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy centers around a young ex-convict (played by Efron) who hijacks an unscripted TV courtroom show, believing that the presiding judge (Ferrell) ruined his life.
While Priyanka’s role — along with Michael Peña’s — remains under wraps, her involvement was confirmed through an Instagram story that sparked buzz among her global fanbase.
Nicholas Stoller directs from his original script and reunites with Amazon MGM following You’re Cordially Invited, starring Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. The upcoming film is produced by Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown of Gloria Sanchez Productions, alongside Stoller’s own Stoller Global Solutions.
This film joins a growing list of Priyanka’s international projects. She recently wrapped a schedule for SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29, starring alongside Mahesh Babu, in what’s being dubbed an Indiana Jones-style action-adventure. She is also set to appear in:
