Actor Priyanka Chopra, who has been married to singer Nick Jonas since 2018, recently gave fans a glimpse of her husband’s growing love for Hindi. During a fun Ask Me Anything session on X (formerly Twitter), Priyanka responded to fans’ curious questions about her personal and professional life.
When one fan asked, “What’s something you taught Nick to say in Hindi? P.S. I LOVE YOU!!! #AskPCJ,” Priyanka playfully replied, “Khana, paani, pyaar, paneer (food, water, love, paneer), but I think he picked it all up himself! @nickjonas.”
Priyanka’s lighthearted response quickly won hearts online, with fans loving the couple’s adorable cultural exchange.
On working in Telugu cinema
During the same session, another user asked Priyanka about her experience working in the Telugu film industry. The actor, who is set to make her comeback to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film GlobeTrotter, replied, “It’s still early days for me on the movie, but it’s been adiri poyindi! Also, the biryani is the best in the world in Hyderabad.”
Priyanka and Nick’s family life
Known for sharing glimpses of her family life, Priyanka often posts heartwarming photos with Nick and their daughter, Malti Marie. Recently, she shared pictures from a family vacation in Orlando, featuring Nick hugging her and Malti beside a mermaid statue. In another clip, Nick jokingly called a snake around her neck “new jewellery,” to which Priyanka laughed, “Thanks, it’s the new serpenti.”

Priyanka and Nick’s romance began in 2017 after connecting on social media and meeting at the Met Gala. Nick proposed in Greece the following year, and the couple tied the knot in December 2018 in a lavish dual ceremony in Jodhpur that honoured both Hindu and Christian traditions. They welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy in January 2022.
