May 3, 2025: Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her fifth dazzling appearance at the Met Gala on May 6, 2025. The global icon will walk the iconic red carpet alongside Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing, donning a custom creation by the renowned French fashion house. Her ensemble will be accentuated with a striking piece from Bulgari’s latest high jewellery collection.
This year’s Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” pays tribute to the rich legacy of Black fashion and 300 years of Dandyism, celebrating elegance, culture, and craftsmanship.
Chopra’s previous Met Gala looks have consistently made headlines. She made her debut in 2017 wearing a dramatic Ralph Lauren trench coat gown, followed by a deep red velvet gown with a jeweled hood in 2018. In 2019, she turned heads in a whimsical Mad Hatter-inspired ensemble, and in 2023, she opted for a sleek Valentino gown for the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme.
This year, she’ll be joined by Indian cinema heavyweights Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. SRK, making his Met Gala debut, is expected to wear an ensemble by designer Sabyasachi.
On the professional front, Priyanka is currently filming an untitled project with director SS Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu. Additionally, her next Hollywood film, Heads of State, co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba, is slated for release on July 2, 2025.
