On the professional front, Priyanka is preparing for her upcoming Hollywood project, ‘Heads Of State.’ She’s also venturing into production with Barry Avrich’s feature documentary ‘Born Hungry’. This gritty drama follows the harrowing journey of a young Indian boy, Sash Simpson, who navigates his way back to his roots after being lost and subsequently adopted by a Canadian couple. The story traces his survival through the harsh streets of Chennai and his return to India fueled by fragmented memories. The film debuted at the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2024 and will feature next at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto on April 26.
