Actor wraps Hyderabad schedule of Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’, gears up for ‘The Bluff’ promotions
February 8, 2026: Global star Priyanka Chopra wrapped up her latest shooting schedule in Hyderabad and took a special local memory with her as she flew back to Los Angeles. Sharing a picture of Hyderabad’s iconic bun maska on Instagram Stories, Priyanka wrote that she was “taking a piece of Hyderabad” with her. She also confirmed that it was her last working day in the city for the month on SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film Varanasi, assuring fans that she would return to the sets after completing her international commitments.
Priyanka is set to head to LA to promote her upcoming English action thriller The Bluff. Despite shifting focus to promotions, she reassured that work on Varanasi will resume soon. The film marks her return to Indian cinema after a long gap, with Priyanka playing the role of Mandakini. First-look posters from the film, featuring her in a yellow saree while holding a pistol, have already generated strong buzz. The film also stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu showered praise on Priyanka after watching the trailer of The Bluff, calling her performance “uncompromising and formidable.” Directed by the Russo Brothers-backed team and produced by AGBO Studios along with Amazon MGM Studios, The Bluff features Priyanka as fierce pirate Ercell Bodden and is slated for release on February 25. The project boasts an ensemble cast including Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Safia Oakley-Green, further adding to anticipation.
