In a bid to revive interest and boost collections, the filmmakers are set to release a reloaded version of the film on January 17. The updated edition will feature an additional 20 minutes of new content, promising fans an enhanced cinematic experience. Initially scheduled for January 11, the re-release was delayed due to technical issues.
While the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise initially garnered massive excitement, audience turnout saw no significant increase during the Makar Sankranti and Pongal holidays on January 14. This lackluster response has further impacted its earnings trajectory, though the upcoming re-release may provide a much-needed boost.
