The film’s success has not been without controversy. Lead actor Allu Arjun made headlines following his arrest after a tragic stampede during the film’s premiere, which resulted in a fan’s death. Reports suggest that the incident fueled a staggering 70% spike in worldwide collections, sparking speculation about orchestrated publicity tactics.

Global and Domestic Milestones

With a global box office total of ₹1,401 crore, Pushpa 2 is on the verge of hitting ₹1,500 crore in record time. Trade analysts predict the film will soon cross the ₹1,000 crore domestic mark, a feat achieved by very few Indian movies.

As the film continues its remarkable run, Pushpa 2 is expected to maintain momentum through the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. Industry experts believe it has the potential to surpass Aamir Khan's Dangal to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time, potentially reaching the ₹2,000 crore milestone globally.

Allu Arjun: A Box Office Titan

With Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun has solidified his status as one of India’s most bankable stars. The film’s unprecedented success highlights the growing global influence of South Indian cinema and its dominance in the Indian film industry.
