Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule witnesses a dip in collections but maintains its box office dominance globally.
January 8, 2025: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has entered its fifth week with a noticeable dip in box office collections. However, despite the slowdown, the film continues to dominate globally, breaking multiple records and maintaining its blockbuster status.
On Tuesday, the film earned ₹2.25 crore, a sharp decline from its earlier peak collections. The opening week saw massive earnings of ₹725.8 crore, followed by ₹264.8 crore in the second week. The third and fourth weeks witnessed a further drop with ₹129.5 crore and ₹69.65 crore, respectively.
In its fifth week so far, Pushpa 2 has managed ₹21.10 crore, with daily earnings reported as:
- Friday: ₹3.75 crore
- Saturday: ₹5.5 crore
- Sunday: ₹7.2 crore
- Monday: ₹2.5 crore
The film’s cumulative box office collection in India now stands at ₹1,210.95 crore. Globally, it has amassed an impressive ₹1,800 crore, firmly positioning itself among the highest-grossing films of all time.
The Hindi-dubbed version of Pushpa 2 has achieved an extraordinary milestone, crossing ₹800 crore, making it the first-ever Hindi release to reach this mark.

Adding to the excitement, the film’s makers have announced a “Reloaded Version” featuring an additional 20 minutes of exclusive footage. This extended version is set to hit cinemas starting January 11th, aligning with the Sankranti festival, and is expected to reignite audience enthusiasm and boost collections.
Pushpa 2: The Rule remains a cinematic phenomenon, setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema worldwide, even as its earnings show signs of slowing down.
