
Pushpa 2 Breaks Records: Fastest Indian Film to Cross ₹1,500 Crore Globally
December 20, 2024: Pushpa 2: The Rule – Part 2, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the fastest Indian film to gross ₹1,500 crore globally. On Day 15, the action-packed drama earned ₹10.95 crore in India, bringing its total domestic net collection to ₹983.9 crore across all languages, according to Sacnilk.

Globally, the movie has amassed a staggering ₹1,508 crore, as confirmed by Mythri Movie Makers. Celebrating the achievement, the production house shared on X, “COMMERCIAL CINEMA REDEFINED. The movie has become the highest-grossing Hindi-language film, earning ₹600 crore in just two weeks, surpassing Stree 2 and Jawan.
Since its release on December 5, Pushpa 2 has shattered numerous box office records and is projected to cross ₹750-800 crore in the coming days in India alone. Globally, the movie is currently the third biggest Indian grosser, trailing behind Baahubali 2 and Dangal. Analysts suggest it might soon overtake Baahubali 2 to claim the second spot.
Directed by Sukumar, the film features Allu Arjun as Pushpa, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, and Fahadh Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The duo’s performances have catapulted them to the top of IMDb’s Most Popular Celebrity List, with Allu Arjun securing the second spot and Rashmika Mandanna ranking fifth.
