Pushpa 2 Day 40: Allu Arjun's Blockbuster Sees Lowest Single-Day Collection of Rs 1 Crore
January 14, 2025: Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has set the box office ablaze since its release but recorded its lowest single-day collection of Rs 1 crore on its 6th Monday. This comes after a successful six weeks where the film crossed several milestones and garnered a massive Rs 1221.55 crore in total collections.
While the movie’s initial run saw remarkable earnings—including a record-breaking opening week collection of Rs 725.8 crore—its pace slowed down over time. The film earned Rs 264.8 crore in its second week, Rs 129.5 crore in the third, and dipped further to Rs 69.65 crore in its fourth week. By the fifth week, collections fell to Rs 23.25 crore. The 40th day’s performance pushed the total for the 6th week to Rs 6.5 crore.

Despite these declines, Pushpa 2 remains a global phenomenon, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time and even surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in certain metrics. Its enduring popularity has been attributed to the gripping storyline, high-octane action sequences, and Allu Arjun’s stellar portrayal of Pushpa Raj. Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil’s intense performance as antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat have also been widely appreciated.
Fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of a ‘Reloaded’ version of the film this Friday, which promises an additional 20 minutes of content. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate global box office charts and maintains its grip on audiences even in its sixth week.
