'Pushpa 2' Surpasses ₹1200 Cr Mark, Continues Box Office Dominance on Day 38
January 12, 2025: New Delhi: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s mass entertainer, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has continued its triumphant run at the box office, earning ₹2 crore on its 38th day. The film, directed by Sukumar, has surpassed the ₹1200 crore milestone globally, further cementing its place as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
Pushpa 2 made a thunderous debut on December 5, 2025, with an impressive ₹164.25 crore collection across all languages in India. The film has shown remarkable staying power, consistently drawing audiences even after five weeks. According to a Sacnilk report, the movie’s total collection has now reached ₹1218.15 crore.
In its opening week, Pushpa 2 shattered records with ₹725.8 crore in net earnings. The momentum continued in subsequent weeks with collections of ₹264.8 crore in the second week, ₹129.5 crore in the third week, ₹69.65 crore in the fourth week, and ₹23.25 crore in the fifth week.
Despite competition from recent releases like Ram Charan’s Game Changer and Sonu Sood’s Fateh, Pushpa 2 has managed to maintain its dominance. In contrast, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John struggled to make an impact, barely reaching the ₹40 crore mark before losing screens.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule combines a gripping storyline with high-octane action sequences, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats. The film has received widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike, with its songs, teasers, and BTS moments generating immense buzz even before its release.
As the movie continues to shine at the box office, trade analysts predict that Pushpa 2 will maintain its stronghold in the coming weeks, further solidifying its position as a cinematic phenomenon.
