Pushpa 2: The Rule Crosses ₹1200 Crore Globally, Hindi Version Surpasses ₹800 Crore
January 6, 2025: Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, continues to dominate the box office even after a month since its release on December 5, 2024. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film has crossed the monumental ₹1200 crore mark globally across all languages, with the Hindi dubbed version surpassing ₹800 crore—a first for any Hindi release.

According to Sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2 earned ₹7 crore on its 32nd day (fifth Sunday), bringing the total box office collection to ₹1,206 crore.
The Hindi version has been a standout performer, achieving a record-breaking ₹800 crore milestone, making it the first Hindi-dubbed film to reach this mark.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with music by Devi Sri Prasad under the T-Series banner, Pushpa 2 has set the stage for its third installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, which was teased in the film’s end credits.
The film’s otherwise celebratory success was marred by a tragic incident on December 4, 2024, when a 35-year-old woman lost her life and her eight-year-old son was injured during a stampede-like situation at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre.
Lead actor Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the incident but was released on interim bail on December 14. His bail period is set to conclude on January 10, 2025, and he is required to appear at the Chikkadpally police station every Sunday until the charge sheet is filed or two months pass, whichever is earlier.
Despite the controversies, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its unstoppable box office run, cementing its place as one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema history.
