January 9, 2025: Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, continues its phenomenal run at the box office, cementing its status as a record-breaking blockbuster. As the fifth week concludes, the film remains a crowd-puller despite a natural slowdown in collections.

According to Sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2 earned ₹2.15 crore (India net) on its 35th day, bringing its fifth-week total to an estimated ₹23.25 crore. Industry experts predict the film will cross the ₹25 crore mark by the end of the week.
Directed by Sukumar, the film has set unprecedented benchmarks since its release. Grossing ₹725.8 crore in its opening week and ₹264.8 crore in its second, the collections gradually slowed but remained substantial, with ₹129.5 crore and ₹69.65 crore in the third and fourth weeks, respectively. With a staggering ₹1213 crore in total net collections, Pushpa 2 has overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
Extended Version Release Postponed
Originally slated for a January 11 release, the much-anticipated extended version of Pushpa 2: The Rule has been delayed to January 17 due to technical issues. The film’s production team issued a statement via social media, saying, “Due to technical delays in processing the content, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theatres from January 17 instead of January 11. Happy Sankranthi everyone. The extended version will be worth the wait with additional whistle-worthy moments.”
