Hyderabad Premiere Incident

While celebrating the film’s success, Allu Arjun faced legal troubles following a tragic incident at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. On December 4, a stampede-like situation led to the death of a woman and left her young son critically injured.

Arjun, who had visited the theatre without informing the authorities, was arrested by the Telangana police on December 13 but was released on interim bail the next day. The theatre management has also been arrested, and a show-cause notice has been issued.

Producer Allu Aravind’s Statement

Arjun’s father, producer Allu Aravind, visited the injured boy, who remains on life support in a Hyderabad hospital. In a video statement to the press, Aravind shared, “I just visited Sri Tej in the ICU. The boy has been recovering slowly over the last 10 days, but it might take longer. We are ready to provide any support needed to help him recover.”

Legal advisors have requested that Allu Arjun refrain from visiting the victim’s family at this time.

Despite the controversy, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to set new milestones at the box office, cementing its status as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
