Pushpa Row: Dil Raju shares “Whole Film Industry” Will Meet CM Revanth Reddy Tomorrow

December 25, 2024: The recent Sandhya Theatre tragedy in Hyderabad has sparked significant public and media attention, especially as it unfolded during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Dil Raju, a prominent film producer and Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, has been playing a crucial role in addressing the aftermath, including acting as a bridge between the film industry and the government.

Dil Raju announced that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has scheduled a meeting with members of the film industry tomorrow to discuss the incident and related matters. He mentioned that the CM’s office will also be involved in providing assistance and ensuring the necessary support for the affected families. This step appears to be a response to the tragedy, showing a unified approach from both the film industry and the state government.

Dil Raju also shared an update on the injured child, Sri Tej, who was severely hurt during the chaotic scene that followed Allu Arjun’s appearance at the premiere. Fortunately, Sri Tej has shown signs of recovery, having been taken off the ventilator after 20 days in the hospital. The boy’s father, Bhaskar, expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support from Allu Arjun and the Telangana government, highlighting that his child is now responding positively.

In addition, Dil Raju emphasized that the film industry will stand together with the government to offer all necessary support to Sri Tej’s family, ensuring their well-being. The tragic incident has also led to scrutiny of crowd management practices at film events, particularly after a police inquiry involving Allu Arjun, who was briefly detained and later released on bail in connection with the chaos.

This incident raises concerns about public safety during high-profile events and underscores the importance of effective crowd control measures, especially at such large gatherings. It also highlights the role of the government and film industry in collaborating to address tragedies and support the victims.
