PVR INOX Announces Grand SRK Film Festival for 60th Birthday, Deets Inside!

Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th Birthday Bash is a Two-Week Cinematic Extravaganza PVR INOX is hosting a film festival starting October 31st across 30+ cities, featuring six of the superstar’s most celebrated films.

October 17, 2025: Multiplex giant PVR INOX has announced a special two-week film festival starting October 31 to celebrate the iconic legacy of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan ahead of his 60th birthday on November 2.

The announcement comes shortly after the actor, who recently bagged the National Award for his performance in Jawan, called the tribute a “beautiful reunion.”

The Line-Up: Classics to Blockbusters

The film festival, running across more than 75 cinemas in over 30 cities, is set to showcase a curated line-up of some of SRK’s most influential films, spanning his three-decade career.

The featured films include beloved classics and recent blockbusters:

  • Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na
  • Dil Se
  • Devdas
  • Main Hoon Na
  • Om Shanti Om
  • Jawan
  • Chennai Express (Reportedly included in the extended line-up)

SRK’s Heartfelt Reaction

Reflecting on the unique honour, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude in a press release.

“Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films return to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion,” the actor said. “These movies aren’t just my stories — they belong to the audience that has lovingly embraced them for over 33 years.”

He added, “I’m grateful to PVR INOX for celebrating this journey with such love, and to Red Chillies Entertainment, my creative home, for always believing in stories that connect us all. I hope everyone who comes to watch relives the joy, the music, the emotions, and the magic of cinema that we’ve shared together.”

The two-week long festival, which commences on October 31, is part of a larger initiative by PVR INOX to honour landmark films and exceptional talent, giving both longtime fans and a new generation of audiences a chance to experience the superstar’s magic on the big screen.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in his 2023 trilogy of hits: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand’s King, where he will share the screen for the first time with his daughter Suhana Khan, a film expected to release in the coming years.
