Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Despite Dip, Ajay Devgn Starrer Climbs to 8th Spot in 2025’s Highest-Grossing Bollywood Films

After a strong May Day debut, Raid 2 sees a predictable dip but maintains its momentum, earning over ₹31 crore in just two days and eyeing a big weekend surge.

May 3, 2025: Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 is showing no signs of slowing down at the Indian box office. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, the crime thriller stormed into cinemas with the third-highest Bollywood opening of 2025. Now, despite a day-two drop, the film has already broken into the top 10 highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.

Day 2 Performance and Early Trends:

After a blockbuster opening of ₹19.71 crore on May Day, Raid 2 collected between ₹11.50 to ₹12.50 crore on its second day, according to early estimates. The 36–41% dip is expected, given Friday was a regular working day. Yet, thanks to strong word-of-mouth and robust spot bookings, the film held its ground as the top choice among moviegoers, even amid competition from Kesari Chapter 2, Jaat, and The Bhootnii.

Two-Day Total & Chart Climb:

With a total estimated collection of ₹31.21–32.21 crore in just 48 hours, Raid 2 has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Emergency, Fateh, and Crazxy. It now ranks 8th in the list of top 10 Bollywood grossers of 2025. The film is expected to continue its upward trend over the weekend.

Crazxy, previously on the list, has been knocked out. With the weekend ahead, Raid 2 is all set to overtake Deva and cement its place higher on the chart.
