May 2, 2025 | Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 has stormed into theatres with a ₹18 crore nett collection on its opening day, giving Bollywood a much-needed boost amid an otherwise lukewarm 2025 box office season.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the 2018 hit Raid, the sequel benefitted from the Maharashtra Day / Labour Day holiday, which helped push footfalls across urban centres and single screens alike.
