Raid 2 Box Office Day 6: With a Budget of ₹100 Cr. Ajay Devgn’s Thriller Crosses ₹108 Cr Globally, Beats ‘Shaitaan’

Despite a weekday slump, Raid 2 continues its strong performance with ₹85.5 crore in India and ₹108.65 crore worldwide, outperforming Ajay Devgn’s recent films.

Ajay Devgn’s crime drama Raid 2 has crossed the ₹100 crore mark globally within six days of release, making it one of the few successful Bollywood films of 2025. Despite a notable drop in weekday collections, the film has earned ₹85.5 crore net in India and a global total of ₹108.65 crore.

According to Sacnilk, Raid 2 collected ₹6.75 crore on Tuesday, bringing its gross India tally to ₹93.65 crore. The film has also performed decently overseas, raking in ₹15 crore.

Box Office Comparison: Raid 2 vs Shaitaan, Maidaan, Azaad

The film has outperformed Ajay Devgn’s earlier 2024 release Shaitaan, which managed ₹74 crore in its first six days. It has also surpassed the collections of Azaad and Maidaan, consolidating its place among Devgn’s more successful recent ventures.

Occupancy & Show Count

On its sixth day, Raid 2 maintained an average occupancy of 15.33% across 5,062 screens nationwide.

  • Highest occupancy: Chennai (24.75%, 44 shows)
  • Major urban centres:
    • Mumbai: 19% (880 shows)
    • Bengaluru: 17.25% (253 shows)
    • Jaipur: 17.25% (184 shows)
    • Delhi NCR: 15.50% (1,258 shows)

Trade Analysts Call It A Hit

Renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh declared Raid 2 a hit, highlighting its strong Monday performance:

“It’s a hit… Raid 2 is officially a HIT. After a terrific extended weekend, the film held strong on Day 5, solidifying its status as a genuine success.”

He also noted that Raid 2, along with recent hits like Jaat and Kesari Chapter 2, signals a rebound for the box office, driven by iconic stars like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Sunny Deol.

Outlook

With consistent earnings and positive word-of-mouth, Raid 2 is expected to stay steady through the week. However, the upcoming release of Bhool Chuk Maaf may impact its momentum.
