March 28, 2025: The much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 hit film Raid is finally here! The teaser for Raid 2 has dropped, and fans of the first film are in for an even more thrilling ride.
Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the determined and no-nonsense IRS officer Amay Patnaik in this high-stakes sequel, which promises to bring even more tension and action-packed drama to the screen.
In Raid 2, Patnaik is back in action and this time, he’s facing off against an even bigger adversary—a powerful and corrupt political figure named Dadabhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh. Known for his dedication to fighting corruption, Patnaik has already conducted 74 raids and been transferred 74 times, making him a relentless force against the corrupt system.
