Raj Kundra Breaks Silence on ED Raids, Slams Media for Dragging Shilpa Shetty Into Unrelated Matters

November 30, 2024: Businessman Raj Kundra has finally addressed the ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into alleged money laundering linked to his properties. Taking to Instagram Stories, Kundra shared a detailed statement, firmly denying the allegations and criticising media outlets for sensationalising the case by dragging his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty, into unrelated matters.

In his post, Raj Kundra wrote, “To whom it may concern, while the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates,’ ‘pornographic,’ and ‘money laundering,’ let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth. In the end, justice will prevail.”

He further added, “It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries…!!!”

This comes after media reports claimed that Shilpa Shetty’s properties were also raided as part of the ED’s investigation. However, Shilpa’s lawyer has firmly denied these allegations.

In an official statement, Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer clarified, “There have been reports in the media saying that my client, Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, has been raided by the Enforcement Directorate. These reports are not true and are misleading. As per my knowledge, there has been no ED raid on Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, as she has nothing to do with any offense of whatsoever nature. However, the case in question is an ongoing investigation regarding Mr. Raj Kundra, and he is cooperating with the investigation for the truth to come out.”

The case has been under investigation for the past four years, with Raj Kundra’s alleged involvement in money laundering and other accusations being scrutinized. Despite the allegations, Kundra remains confident that the truth will emerge, calling for the media to exercise restraint and avoid unnecessary speculation.
