Raj Kundra, Geeta Basra’s ‘Mehar’ Trailer Out

Mehar is Raj Kundra’s first Punjabi movie and promises a compelling story of love, grief, and forgiveness. Geeta Basra is also in the movie, which comes out on September 5, 2025.

August 21, New Delhi: The teaser for Mehar, which stars Raj Kundra and Geeta Basra, has finally been out, and Punjabi movie fans are already buzzing about it.

This is Raj Kundra’s first Punjabi movie, and he plays Karamjit, a Sikh man with a simple but strong dream: to become an actor. The clip starts off on a positive note, with Karamjit going after his dream. But things quickly get sad as he gets duped after signing a film contract.

As the story goes on, viewers see Karamjit fall apart emotionally in both his personal and professional life. But the story doesn’t end with sadness. The trailer ends with a powerful look at Karamjit rising from the ashes and becoming a strong fighter who chooses courage over failure.

Rakesh Mehta wrote and directed Mehar, which has been called a “heartfelt story” about love, sorrow, and relationships set against a backdrop of ambition and betrayal.

The trailer unveiling was in Chandigarh and was attended by the main stars, Raj Kundra and Geeta Basra, as well as actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh.

Raj Kundra spoke at the ceremony and thanked everyone for their support and talked about how much the project meant to him. “It’s a story about relationships.” I’ve been through a lot in my life. “I’ve fallen, I’ve broken, but I’m not done,” he added, clearly impacted by what the audience shouted.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra was quite proud of her husband’s latest movie: “The team has worked very hard on the film.” Today I feel very proud. She said, “I am here as his wife, not as an actor.”

Geeta Basra, who plays the main female role, said that Mehar is “a complete package.” She told ANI that after seeing the trailer, she felt “a sense of pride.” I think Punjabi fans would be proud and entertained by the movie since it has amazing music and portrays emotions and connections.

Harbhajan Singh also showed his support by complimenting the squad on their hard work. “It’s a great movie. Everyone deserves a big “well done.” The movie sends a nice message to its viewers. He said, “I hope all Punjabis will like it.”

Mehar is going to be more than just a movie; it’s going to be a celebration of strength and connections. The actors give heartfelt performances, the music is sure to resonate with audiences, and the story is full of emotion.

The movie is set to come out in theaters on September 5, 2025.
