Rajinikanth fans Embraces the Release Of 'Vettaiyan' With Immense Excitement And Enthusiasm, Turning The Occasion Into A Celebration
October 10, 2024: It’s celebration time for Rajinikanth fans as his much-anticipated film Vettaiyan finally hits theaters today. Massive crowds gathered outside Chennai’s iconic Rohini Theatre, where the atmosphere was electric.
Fans were seen dancing to the beats of Rajinikanth’s popular songs, throwing confetti, and celebrating the release with their trademark enthusiasm. The excitement was palpable, with fans treating the release like a festival, a common occurrence whenever a Rajinikanth film graces the big screen.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions, Vettaiyan boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami. The film also marks Amitabh Bachchan’s much-awaited debut in Tamil cinema, where he plays a character named Sathyadev, who stands in opposition to extrajudicial killings, presenting a thought-provoking moral dilemma in the film.
The recently released trailer set the tone for the action-packed drama, with Rajinikanth’s character, a bold cop, proclaiming, “It’s not wrong for the police to take the law into their own hands when injustice occurs.” This, along with Amitabh Bachchan’s powerful dialogue, “Justice delayed is justice denied; justice hurried is justice buried,” has sparked interest in the clash of ideologies between the characters.
With music by Anirudh Ravichander, Vettaiyan marks the 30th venture for Lyca Productions and is already a major hit among fans, who are flooding theaters across Tamil Nadu to watch their superstar in action.
