Megastar Rajinikanth is back in Chennai after attending the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. At the airport, he was seen in a casual white outfit.

During the ‘Shubh Ashirwad’ ceremony, a touching moment was shared between Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, highlighting their deep bond.
At the Jio World Convention Centre, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth rekindled their friendship. Viral photos and videos captured Rajinikanth attempting to touch Amitabh Bachchan’s feet as a sign of respect. Amitabh stopped him and embraced him warmly, showing mutual respect and friendship. This reunion is significant as the two last collaborated 32 years ago in the film ‘Hum’.
Anant Ambani, son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony on July 12, attended by international celebrities and high-profile guests. The wedding took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
On July 13, a blessing ceremony was held for the couple, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several religious leaders, including the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth and the Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, who received standing ovations. The festivities continued with the ‘Mangal Utsav’ reception on July 14.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth will star in ‘Coolie.’ The teaser hints at his action-packed role, featuring him wielding a belt made of gold watches. ‘Coolie’ is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The release date is yet to be announced.
Rajinikanth will also appear in ‘Vettaiyan’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, ‘Vettaiyan’ is Rajinikanth’s 170th film and is set for release in October this year. Recently, Rajinikanth and Amitabh were seen filming together in Mumbai.
