Rajinikanth Spotted Flying Economy Class to Goa for 'Jailer 2' Schedule, Video of Actor Greeting Fans Goes Viral
Fans shared videos online showing the Tamil superstar, known for his humility, sitting in an economy seat and waving to delighted co-passengers.
Tamil cinema icon Rajinikanth is currently gearing up for the next schedule of his highly anticipated film, Jailer 2, once again collaborating with director Nelson Dilipkumar. Fans recently caught a glimpse of the actor’s characteristic humility as he was spotted traveling to Goa on a commercial flight, seated in an economy class seat.
A video shared widely across social media shows Rajinikanth sitting near the front of the plane. Despite the attention he garnered, with numerous passengers pulling out their phones to capture the moment, the superstar remained gracious. He briefly stood up and waved at the cheering fans before settling back into his seat. Even the aeroplane staff were seen smiling during the spontaneous celebrity encounter.
What drew particular attention online was his choice of seating. One fan wrote, “Rajinikanth in an economy seat — yet the aura around him feels first class,” while another noted, “Superstar #Rajinikanth turns a flight into a mini theatre with his charm! On his way to Goa for the #Jailer2 next schedule.”
Rajinikanth is currently deep into the production of Jailer 2, the sequel to his major 2023 hit, Jailer, where he played the character ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian.
