Rajinikanth’s Chikitu Song from Coolie Released: Anirudh Ravichander and T Rajendran Create a Chartbuster
June 25, 2025: The makers of Coolie, the highly anticipated action entertainer starring Rajinikanth, have dropped the first video song titled “Chikitu”, setting social media abuzz. The song has quickly become a trending sensation, thanks to its energetic beats and massy visuals.
Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, along with veteran artist T Rajendran, “Chikitu” blends vibrant music with Rajinikanth’s signature screen presence. The dance choreography, designed by Sandy Master, brings out Thalaivar’s iconic moves, adding to the song’s electrifying appeal.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is packed with an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The film is expected to deliver a high-octane cinematic experience and is scheduled for a grand release in August 2025.
Adding even more excitement, Aamir Khan has confirmed his special appearance in the film. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, the superstar said:
“I really enjoyed doing it. I am a big fan of Rajini sir… huge fan. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me that it is a Rajini sir’s movie and that he wanted me to do a cameo, I said, ‘Done. I am doing it. Whatever it is, I am doing it.’”
