February 15, 2025: The much-anticipated action entertainer Maalik, starring Rajkummar Rao, finally has a release date. The film, which showcases Rajkummar in a gripping role as a ruthless gangster, will hit theatres on June 20, 2025.
Announcing the release date, Tips Films took to their official Instagram handle, sharing an exciting post with the caption, "Poore pradesh aur desh pe RAJ karne aa rahe hain MAALIK! @rajkummar_rao in and as #Maalik In Cinemas on 20th June, 2025."
Directed by Pulkit, who is known for his work in thrillers and dramas, Maalik is currently in post-production. The film is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films.
On August 31, 2024, Rajkummar Rao gave fans a sneak peek into his character by sharing his intense look from the film on Instagram. In the poster, he was seen in a gangster avatar, holding a gun and sporting a serious, no-nonsense expression. The poster also featured the line, "Paeda nahi huye toh kya, ban toh sakte hai (What if we aren't born that way but we can become)."
Maalik is one of the most awaited films of the year, and fans are eager to see Rajkummar Rao in this intense new avatar when it releases on June 20, 2025.
