Industry rallies behind actor as bail hearing looms in cheque bounce case

February 11, 2026: Rajpal Yadav’s manager Goldie has expressed hope that the actor will be released from Tihar Jail on February 11, with his bail hearing scheduled for tomorrow. The actor had surrendered in connection with a cheque bounce case involving a Rs 9 crore debt after the Delhi High Court denied him additional time to repay the amount. Goldie revealed that several Bollywood A-listers, including Sonu Sood, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, David Dhawan, Ratan Jain and Varun Dhawan, have reached out to offer support during this difficult phase. He added that while commitments have been made, financial transactions take time, and the family remains mentally strong as they await positive news.

Following Rajpal’s arrest, Sonu Sood stepped forward by offering him a signing amount for an upcoming film, clarifying that it was not charity but a gesture of dignity and solidarity. Politician Tej Pratap Yadav contributed Rs 11 lakh, while KRK offered Rs 10 lakh. Music producer Rao Inderjeet Singh pledged Rs 1.11 crore and assured that if the full amount is not raised by February 14, he would personally deposit the remaining sum in court to help secure bail before Maha Shivratri.

Singer Guru Randhawa also extended support, announcing that Rajpal Yadav will feature in one of his upcoming music videos, with an advance payment already made. Sharing his message of solidarity, he urged others to help bring the actor home safely. With several celebrations planned at the actor’s residence later this month, the family remains hopeful that Rajpal Yadav will soon reunite with them.
