Rajpal Yadav Shares First Post After Jail Release
Actor pens heartfelt gratitude note following interim relief in cheque-bounce case
February 19, 2026: Actor Rajpal Yadav has shared his first Instagram post after being released from Tihar Jail in connection with a cheque-bounce case. The actor, who had surrendered before authorities, expressed gratitude to fans in a brief Hindi message thanking them for their love and support. Soon after the post, fans flooded the comments section with warm wishes, calling him “a gem” and welcoming him back.
After securing interim relief, Rajpal said that all legal matters related to the case pending before the Delhi High Court would be handled by his lawyer, Bhaskar Upadhyay. He added that he plans to address the media soon and share personal reflections on his journey in cinema, describing himself as someone nurtured by the blessings of audiences across generations throughout his nearly three-decade career.
The High Court granted interim suspension of his sentence until March 18, directing him to furnish a personal bond of ₹1 lakh along with one surety of the same amount. The court noted that ₹1.5 crore had been deposited in the respondent’s bank account while granting relief. Following his surrender, actors Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary, along with composer Rao Inderjit Yadav, extended financial assistance to his family.
