Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan was seen in a heated exchange with a group of eunuchs (kinners) during the wedding festivities of his nephew, Eshaan Roshan (son of music composer Rajesh Roshan).

A video that has since gone viral on social media captures the moment the newlyweds, Eshaan and Aishwarya Singh, arrived at the venue.
The Incident: As the couple stepped off their vehicle, a group of eunuchs reportedly blocked their path to perform nazar utarna (warding off the evil eye) and offer “blessings.”
The Argument: Rakesh Roshan, visibly irritated, was seen confronting the group. While the eunuchs insisted they were only there to bless the couple, the filmmaker appeared to be arguing against what witnesses described as “aggressive demands” for money.
Public Reaction: The internet has largely sided with the filmmaker. One user commented, “They don’t come for blessings, they come for extortion. It’s a racket in every city.” Another added, “Why should money give them this clear right to harass people at their private events?”
