The Bombay High Court on Wednesday quashed the cross-FIRs filed by the former couple, noting that the matter had been “amicably settled” between them. A bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Sandesh Patil observed that the dispute arose from a matrimonial relationship and that no purpose would be served by continuing the cases. Both Rakhi and Adil were present in court and confirmed they had no objections to the FIRs being quashed, bringing an end to the public legal battle.
