Ram Charan Attends ‘Game Changer’ Teaser Launch Barefoot in Lucknow

Lucknow, November 9, 2024: Actor Ram Charan made a striking appearance on Saturday at the teaser launch event of his upcoming film Game Changer in Lucknow, attending barefoot as part of his Ayyappa Deeksha observance. The star was dressed in an all-black ethnic ensemble, including a kurta, pyjama, and a traditional stole, adhering to the Deeksha’s strict guidelines.

Ram Charan is currently undertaking the sacred Ayyappa Deeksha, a vow followed by devotees of Lord Ayyappa. During this period, he follows rigorous rules and wears only a black outfit and the Ayyappa Mala, symbolizing dedication and discipline in preparation for his pilgrimage to the Sabarimala Temple in Kerala.

Joining Ram Charan at the event were his Game Changer co-star Kiara Advani and the film’s director, S. Shankar. Scheduled for release on January 10, 2025, Game Changer has been eagerly awaited by fans and the industry alike.

Set in the political landscape, the film follows the journey of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who confronts corruption and political malfeasance. In an effort to overhaul the governance system, the officer challenges unethical politicians and champions fair elections, aiming for systemic reform.

Originally announced in 2021, Game Changer has been generating excitement with its timely narrative and powerful cast. Fans of Ram Charan and Kiara Advani are anticipating a gripping storyline, combined with S. Shankar’s directorial vision, that sheds light on integrity within the political system.

The star-studded launch event and Ram Charan’s heartfelt observance of Ayyappa Deeksha have only heightened the enthusiasm for the film’s release.
