Ram Charan’s ‘RC16’ Officially Titled ‘Peddi’, Actor’s Intense First Look Revealed, Take A Look!

March 27, 2025: Ram Charan’s much-anticipated 16th film, previously known as ‘RC16,’ has now been officially titled ‘Peddi.’ The exciting update was revealed on his 40th birthday, marking the occasion with the release of the film’s first-look posters, which were shared by the director Buchi Babu Sana.

In the intense first-look posters, Ram Charan adopts a raw and rugged persona. His piercing gaze, untamed beard, messy hair, and a nose ring exude a menacing aura, giving a glimpse of the fierce character he is set to portray. Dressed in a striped red shirt, holding a cigar, Charan’s look amplifies a gritty and earthy vibe. The second poster delves deeper into his role, showing Charan holding an old cricket bat in a rustic village stadium under floodlights. This imagery hints at the film’s rural setting and intense, action-packed themes.

The director took to social media to share the posters, posting a heartfelt message to Charan: “Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir.. In one word, you are Gold Sir. Thank you for everything Sir.”

Charan himself shared the first look on his social media, captioning it: “A FIGHT FOR IDENTITY!! #RC16 is #Peddi. A @buchibabu_sana film. An @arrahman musical.”

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who stars alongside Charan in the film, also shared the poster on her Instagram, wishing the actor a happy birthday while expressing her excitement for the project.

‘Peddi’ will see Ram Charan in an intense role and also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada superstar Shiva Raj Kumar, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. The movie will also feature Divyenndu, known for his role in the hit series ‘Mirzapur.’ The makers had earlier unveiled his first look from the upcoming movie as well.

The film is being bankrolled by Sukumar Writings, the production banner of director Sukumar. The music for the film is being composed by Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman.

Ram Charan was last seen in the much-discussed film ‘Game Changer’, directed by S Shankar, which also starred Kiara Advani in the lead role.
