As the film continues to dominate, veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma shared his candid thoughts on its success and the rise of Allu Arjun as a pan-India superstar.

Highlighting Allu Arjun’s nuanced portrayal, he wrote, “It’s extremely rare in Indian cinema to see sharply etched characters like Pushpa or find a star willing to forgo their image to truly embody the role.”
In an extensive note, RGV delved deeper into the character of Pushpa, describing how Allu Arjun’s performance broke stereotypes. “I never believed a deformed character could become a superhero,” he wrote, referencing Pushpa’s physical struggles.
